Neurodevelopmental Diversity

The conference I attended Friday was titles Emerging Paradigms in Neurodevelopmental Disorders. The instructor prefers to consider them as differences rather than deficits. I believe I was able to enjoy the conference partly due to his obviously love for working with people with Asperger's Syndrome. He talked about a number neurodevelopmental syndromes, the parts of the brain their effect, and how they may influence the behaviors and thinking patterns of those who have them.
