Do you know Mee?

I previously stated, my computer was sick. My computer is feeling better now. Being the sister of a true computer geek, I am now running on a system. I'll let you know what I think if it is something I think about from time to time. While my computer was sick the two things I was most concerned about retrieving were my pictures and my money information. But really, it was my pictures. For as for as I can tell, I have all of my pictures. In the process of healing my computer we needed to reformat it, thus making it (as far as I know) impossible to get any other information. After the point of no return I realized I had not secured my e-mail contacts. . . .oops . . . If you know Mee, can contact mee, and want mee to be able to contact you, please do so providing me with your snail and e-mail address.

Tear...

My computer is sick. I was trying to create a new partition to move my data to so I could change operating systems. Something went wrong. My brothers says he can retrieve the data and help mee fix it. Until then, I will need to use computers else where. :-(

a time to play

Last Thursday Tiffany, Erin, and I went horse back riding. It was a lot of fun. I thought a lot about my Grandpa Mackley and his love of horses. It was a beautiful ride. I have pictures on my phone, ask if you want to see them.

After our ride Tiffany wanted to make us dinner. Baked Ziti. I would have declined had I needed to go to work the next day. However, I went along. It was fun to visit and spend extra time with them. After dinner, a short rest, and quick packing I headed out to Bruneau to meet my family for a camp out.

Isaac fishing

Papabear helped the kids work on their casting skills prior to go to the pond.

Our family likes playing cards.

Kevin Tent

Apparently Kevin didn't think his family was putting up heir second tent fast enough and decided to do it.

looking at the sun

We went out to the observatory Friday afternoon to get a tour prior to that evenings star gazing.

We also got to look at the sun through a special telescope. First we had to get the sun to come out and play.

It was a beautiful night. The sky was clear, we could see the stars, moon, and some planets. I chose to not sleep in a tent. It was a really windy night. I waited for the sun to begin peeking up over the mountain before getting up. After a short walk I settled down by the fire and began the day with Smore's.

Temple

After coming home and having lunch I took a good shower and joined the Mountain Home Single's branch on a trip to Twin Falls to tour the new temple.

Memories...

Here's a fun one... 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't have a blog, still leave a comment for me so I know you were here!

still 20 something

The other day I joined a group to watch movies. It was nice to just relax and not really worry about anything. After a couple of movies it was decided to go on a walk. We walked to a near by elementary school where we played for a while. THEY HAD SWINGS, a lot of them. (I like swings).

I am not fully sure how the conversation got to this point. I heard someone say something about guns or shooting. I commented that I wanted to go shooting. I wasn't to surprised when Steven said we could go. I am use to hearing that. He said we could all climb in his truck and go. I wasn't the one who figured out he meant now! (Well, then,11:30 pm).

He was serious. We walked back to his house. He got some ammo and shotgun. We climbed into his truck. It was a short trip to the east side of town. I am sure it took less than twenty minutes for use to go through about 100 rounds. It was fun. I suppose I should break down and take a hunter's safety class.

USRSF

There are a lot of e-mails that go around the world these days. I don't forward most of them. I also edit, to some extent, those I do pass on. This is the first time I have posted something I received in an e-mail. It made mee smile. There is only enough truth to it to make you smile.
Enjoy!
The Pentagon announced TODAY the formation of a new 500-man elite fighting unit called the
United States Redneck Special Forces (USRSF)These boys will be dropped off in Iraq and have been given only the following facts about terrorists :
  1. The season opened today.
  2. There is no limit.
  3. They taste just like chicken.
  4. They don't like beer, pickups, country music or Jesus.
  5. They are directly responsible for the death of Dale Earnhardt.

The Pentagon expects the problem in Iraq to be over by Friday.
