If ye keep my commandments, ye shall prosper.
If I remember correctly is stated in this positive form over 20 times throughout the Book of Mormon. This week I have noticed in a different form. In an invitation to repentance.

And because the people did repent of their iniquities and idolatries the Lord did spare them, and they began to prosper again in the land. ...
I keep thinking this would be a good idea for us a a country. Repent and turn to the ways of the Lord. I believe we can start with just one thing. There is a thought pattern or habit we already know is separating us from the Lord. Focus on that for a day or a week.
Take it to the Lord. Ask him for one thing you can do today to bring you closer to HIM.
If THE promise of the Book of Mormon tells us we prosper through keeping the commandments. I believe the next is that repentance is always an option.
